Understanding Arkansas Division of Workforce Services Unemployment​ Programs

Update: The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services has received reports of increased calls from individuals filing for PUA regarding their eligibility for PUA versus other unemployment programs. Recent federal program extensions and the accompanying complexities of eligibility determination have resulted in some erroneous denials of applications and weekly claims. We are aware of the problem and working toward an immediate resolution. We estimate the issue mentioned above has impacted 2,500 people filing for PUA benefits. DWS has added an alert on the PUA log-in site to notify claimants. We anticipate the issue will be resolved within 48 hours.
