In this session, I’m pleased to be joined by Dr. Mike Hernandez. Dr. Hernandez is the executive director of the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators, a role he took on in July of 2020. Hernandez’s background includes serving as state superintendent at the Arkansas Department of Education since July 2017. Prior to that, he served as superintendent of the Hot Springs School District, superintendent of the Danville School District, and is a former Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner at the Arkansas Department of Education.
In this session, Dr. Hernandez and I discuss the state of public education in Arkansas post-COVID and the challenges educators and administrators are facing and will likely face in the months to come, and much more.
